Gardens & grounds
Our house is situated in four acres of gardens and grounds, which you are welcome to walk around.
The front terrace overlooks the lawned flower garden, where you are welcome to sit. To the rear of the house there is a sheltered patio overlooking the swimming pool, which you can use during the summer months.
Surrounding the house there are extensive grounds, including a stream, a wildlife pond and a small wood, where you may occasionally spot young badgers playing during the spring.
In the summer we are visited by swallows which nest in the barns, and we have buzzards nesting in the woods. If you're fortunate, you may catch site of a glow worm along the hedgerows.
In the spring months there are also primroses alongside the banks of the stream, and camellias, bluebells and daffodils in the wood.
