From Kingsbridge, follow the signs to Dartmouth on the A379. You will pass through the villages of West Charlton, East Charlton and Frogmore. The road soon turns sharply left and narrows with the wall of a house on the right. Be prepared to turn left immediately in front of the 'Chillington' village sign. Trains

The nearest railway station is at Totnes. The railway line runs from London Paddington through Exeter, Totnes and Plymouth. The trains stop at other stations en route such as Reading.

Buses

There is a bus service (number 93) that serves Chillington, running between Dartmouth and Plymouth via Kingsbridge. It runs every day of the week, including Sundays.

The Tally Ho! number 164 bus runs between Totnes and Kingsbridge.
